Earlier this year, I released "The Gunsmoke Sessions", a nigh-complete collection of the recordings I had done for my 2016 album Gunsmoke, including but not limited to alternate mixes and isolated elements, unused takes, completely unreleased (and often unfinished) songs, and so on and so forth. It was a fun little romp going through the archives and finally cleaning house!

So I thought I would do it again for the 5th anniversary of another 2016 release: Chemistry! Included in this "Chemistry Sessions" release are pretty much the same things as the Gunsmoke one, i.e. an assortment of alternate mixes, unreleased songs and other fun trinkets.

Everything has been remastered to get rid of all that dodgy compression that I put over the final master tracks, so you can enjoy the original mix of Chemistry with new life breathed into it! The same goes for every additional track as well.

You might notice a couple of these tracks claim to be from 2017, which might be a bit odd since Chemistry was released in December of 2016, but I have gone ahead and included one or two early album sessions from the beginning of 2017 to round out these recording sessions. Maybe it's "cheating", but I felt that they were more appropriate here than on the never-coming-out "Another Ocean Sessions". Such is life!

Although I have different reasons for it this time, I've once again opted not to include the 2020 remix of Chemistry in this release. If you want to listen to that, you'll have to either buy it separately or you can always pull it up on streaming.
